Hi Paris here and today I have big news. Nuance is releasing Dragon Dictate Medical for Mac version 4. With support for OS X Yosemite (10.10) this new version features higher performance with drastically reduced latency and faster editing with pure 64-bit application and improved memory management capabilities. As with all new and improved editions of Dragon, it also features improved accuracy over the previous version, with optimizations for latest speech recognition technology. Get started using Dragon on a Mac, faster then ever with the new profile setup only requiring a 90 second audio clip.
Dragon Medical for Mac version 4 has updated its medical vocabularies to include well over 90 medical specialties and new support for a General English vocabulary. The General English profile can be created for greater accuracy when dictating outside medical work, such as for personal use. One of the the additions is to allow for more control within applications. Compose and reply to all of your work or personal emails in Gmail, using either Safari or Firefox. With this more robust application control you can use your voice to click on any visible link and open emails.
Perfect as a transcription solution. Accurately transcribe pre-recorded audio files in many different file formats including, .mp3 .aif .aiff .wav .mp4 .m4a .m4v or podcasts of a single speaker’s voice with the same accuracy for medical terminology as transcribing your own voice recording.
