Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13 Professional has arrived as a new member of the Nuance family 
of speech recognition products. This new version features a 15% improvement to out-of-box accuracy compared to Dragon version 12 and is perfect for busy professionals who want to work faster and smarter on the job by using their voice.
During installation Dragon 13 automatically selects the latest and greatest speech model for best performance, allowing you to get the most out of a multi-core PC but also not feel hampered by a single core machine.
The entire profile creation process is now shorter than previous editions due to the improved out-of-the box accuracy in Dragon 13. Reading 4 minutes of text is no longer necessary as Dragon 13 is already accurate right out of the box. You can also go back later to read text to further train Dragon if necessary or you can take advantage of the new Learn from Sent Email feature. This allows you to access web-based email such as Gmail and Yahoo! Mail, so you have more content for Dragon to analyze for better accuracy.
Dragon 13 introduces some new enhancements to everyday dictating. While editing and formatting text, Dragon now generates more hints for alternate word written forms, to make it even quicker and easier to make a change. The DragonBar has been updated to provide clearly indicated controls and to automatically collapse when you are not using it, taking up less desktop real estate. The Dragonbar menu allows for further customization or you can revert back to the classic Dragonbar. The Dragon Sidebar is now referred to as the Learning Centre. The Learning Centre now offers advice and commands based on the application you are currently working in. The Interactive Tutorial has been enhanced to highlight the use of the new features introduced to this edition such as the DragonBar, Learning Center, Vocabulary Editor as well as basic Web navigation and Web based email.
In order to use Dragon in the supported browsers, a new add-on has been introduced. By enabling The Dragon Web extension add-on you will have Full Text Control in Chrome™ and Firefox® as well as Internet Explorer, in compatible websites.
