Last week I had a few clients call in regards to their Philips SpeechMike disconnecting from Dragon Medical and I thought it would be a good idea to share the resolution with you.
Step 1: Click the DragonBar’s microphone icon to toggle the microphone on and off. Once you have toggled the icon try to use the record button on the SpeechMike.
Step 2: Restart Dragon Medical and check to see if the microphone is still disconnected.
Step 3: Restart the Philips Device Control Center application. To do this you will have to launch the Philips Device Control application from the desktop. Once the application is open click on the application menu icon or press F10 on your keyboard. With the drop down menu open, click “Exit Application”. Now that the application has been closed we need to restart it by double-clicking on the desktop icon. You will see a Philips Device Control splash screen and once the application starts we can try to use the record button on the SpeechMike.
Hopefully, by following these steps you will be able to resolve the Philips SpeechMike disconnecting issue.
