There are multiple ways to send dictations to your typists using Philips SpeechExec Pro. Today IPhilips SpeechExec Screen am going to go over how to setup a Gmail, Hotmail & Outlook account.

This next example is for Gmail and Hotmail or any other web based email account.

  1.  Open SpeechExec Pro.
  2. Press Ctrl + 6. This will open the general settings window.
  3. In the left pane expand Delivery and click on Email.
  4. In the email profile pane click Add.
  5. In the new email profile window select SMTP/POP3
  6. Name the profile something suitable e.g. Hotmail and click OK open the POP/SMTP Settings window.
  7. You can find your SMTP/POP settings for your account provider with a Google search. Fill in the settings in the both the SMTP settings tab and POP settings tab then click OK.
  8. Congratulations, you now have a POP3 email setup to send your dictations. Just choose the profile from the list and click apply then OK.

You  can also setup an exchange account to be used. Here are the steps.

  1. Open Philips SpeechExec Pro
  2. Press Ctrl + 6. This will open the general settings window.
  3. In the left pane expand Delivery and click on Email.
  4. In the new email profile window select Extended MAPI.
  5. In the MAPI settings window choose outlook and there is no need to enter a prefix or password and click OK.
  6. Select the email profile and click Set as Default.
  7. Congratulations, you are done.
