Version 220.127.116.11 of our vScription VR Speech Recognition for Chrome is now available on the Google Play Store.
In this version we made a number of backend changes. One change includes improving the way we handled multiple tabs when using the wireless microphone. Clients were running into issues when switching between tabs that had the extension loaded and sometimes the active tab didn’t get the focus from the wireless mic. That has been fixed now.
We also made some improvements to the way vScription VR Cloud Based Medical Speech Recognition for Chrome transfers text. Either when using it natively within the browser or using the vScript Voice Pad. vScription remembers that last focused element to transfer the text to. However since different designers use different methods when coding (ie: Some might uses classes, some IDs etc.) we added some code to try and better bind to those fields. We’ve also changed the field highlight color to make it more obvious which field that vScription is bound to.
One of my personal favorite changes is the way we are registering the wireless microphones. We had some issues with non-admin users registration process in the background. Without getting too technical the process is much cleaner now and works flawlessly for all users and will work with any tenant .
Last but not least we made some minor styling changes. We changed the font to match our website brand font, reduced the size of the sidebar slightly, rounded some edges. Also we updated the styling for the shortcuts popup which wasn’t getting any of the default styles;
