Hi Paris here,
Today I am going to go over how to set up your digital recorder to automatically send dictations after it has been connected to the computer using the Philips SpeechExec Pro version 8.5.
- Connect the portable to the computer.
- Open SpeechExec Pro v8.5
- In the toolbar click on the DPM settings icon.
- In the left pane click DPM Configuration and then click on Delivery after download.
- Check off email and click on configure.
- Make sure always display email before sending is unchecked and click edit.
- Fill out all of the information in the send email window and click OK.
- In the left pane click delivery and send/receive.
- Check off send/receive automatically and choose a desired interval.
- In the left pane click on delivery and click email.
- Uncheck the Use your default emailing program to send dictations (QuickSend) option.
- Click apply then save.
- Congratulations! Now your dictations will be sent out through Philips SpeechExec automatically every time you plug your portable to your computer.
